The Beach Aint all Surf and Sand
Growing up in “The Norf”, That’s North Long Beach California, there was no“How to be a MAN manual”. So, I did what I saw other men do, and that was everything. Everything I could think of, I did it. Everyone thinks that Long Beach is all surf and sand but don’t be confused. There are parts of the city that are grimy and ruthless.
Faced with no place to live, I was forced to leave my childhood, and become a MAN. The streets were rough, and they began to eat away at my innocence. Now, what don’t kill you will only make you stronger and what was inside of me had to grow and evolve quickly, and that would means be tested.
The evolution of this boy would take place no matter what; ready or not here it comes! Beware it’s raw and untamed and often acts on impulse. And this meant that it may strike without warning. Now with an image to uphold and street credibility, I am making my own way. They should have never forced me to MAN UP!
